Past NumbersPlaying Mega Millions in Florida
You can play Mega Millions in various states across the U.S. All you need to do is pick five numbers from 1 to 70 and a Mega Ball from a separate set of 1 to 25. Mark the QP box or ask for a Quick Pick to get random numbers.
In Florida, you can enter up to 26 consecutive drawings using the Advance Play option. That would be three months' worth of draws. A playslip also has five panels if you wish to submit multiple sets of numbers at a time.
The cost is $2 per play, and there is an option for a 'Jackpot Combo' on your playslip if you want Quick Picks for Lotto, Powerball and Mega Millions for a total of $6.
You can also add Megaplier to Mega Millions for an extra $1 per play. Tickets are on sale until 10:00pm on draw days, with the numbers selected an hour later. If you are out of state and play Mega Millions elsewhere, the deadline might be different.
Prizes and Odds
You win Mega Millions prizes by matching the numbers you have picked to the numbers that are drawn. Payouts start from $2 for matching the Mega Ball on its own, and increase in value as you match more numbers.
The jackpot is always worth a minimum of $20 million and it quickly rolls into the hundreds of millions of dollars when it is not won. The grand prize is shared if there are multiple winners, while all the other prizes are fixed amounts.

Megaplier
The Megaplier is an optional feature that could see you win up to $5 million without even matching all the numbers. You have to add it to your ticket - for an extra $1 - at the point of purchase.
If you win a prize, it will be boosted by two, three, four or five times its original value. The exception is the jackpot.
A separate Megaplier draw is held to decide which multiplier will be used. This involves selecting a ball at random from a pool of 15. Five of these are marked 2X, six are labelled 3X, three are marked 4X and one is worth 5X.
The following table shows how much you can win with the Megaplier.
Prize Level | 2X Megaplier | 3X Megaplier | 4X Megaplier | 5X Megaplier |
