Playing FL Fantasy 5

To play Fantasy 5, you just need to choose five numbers from 1 to 36. Alternatively, mark the Quick Pick option to get your numbers generated at random by the computer.

Select the draw time you want to play - MID, EVE or BOTH - and then decide how many consecutive days to enter. You can enter up to 30 days in a row.

There are 10 panels on a playslip (marked A-J), if you want to submit multiple sets of numbers at a time. For each panel, you can also select the EZmatch box to give you a chance to win prizes instantly.

Ticket sales stop 20 minutes before each drawing, so that is 12:45pm for the Midday game and 10:55pm for the Evening game. Tickets purchased after the cut-off time will be entered into the next available draw.

Fantasy 5 costs $1 per play, plus an extra $1 per play if you add the EZmatch option.

Prizes and Odds

To win a Fantasy 5 prize, you must match two, three, four or five of the numbers that are drawn. If you get all five, you'll win the jackpot - which is usually estimated at $100,000 but depends on how many tickets are sold.

The jackpot does not roll over if no tickets match all five numbers. Instead, it rolls down, so the money is always guaranteed to be paid out. If this happens, it means that everyone matching four numbers receives an equal share of the jackpot, up to a maximum of $555 each. If required, the rest of the money is split between players in the Match 3 prize level.

All Fantasy 5 prizes are aid in a single cash payment. The following table shows all the different ways to win, odds for each prize level and estimated payout.

EZmatch Prizes and Odds

If you add the EZmatch option for an extra $1, you'll see a set of five random numbers between 1 and 36 on the lower part of your ticket. Next to each one will be a prize value, ranging from $2 to $500. If any of the numbers you selected for the Fantasy 5 draw are the same as the EZmatch numbers on your ticket, you win the corresponding prize amount. You can then cash out this prize instantly without having to wait for a draw to take place. It is even possible to match all five of your EZmatch numbers on a single ticket.
